I’m asking for your support as I work toward sentence reduction or supervision. I take full responsibility for my actions and have used this time to reflect, grow, and commit to doing better. I am coming up on 10 years of incarceration, and during that time I’ve missed so much of both of my kids’ lives—moments I can never get back. That reality weighs on me every day and has pushed me to change for the better. I’m focused on becoming a better man, a better father, and a positive influence moving forward. I’m asking for a second chance to prove that I can live responsibly and be present for my children. We need 100 signatures, and every single one truly matters. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to support me and believes in growth, accountability, and redemption.
Statistics show that a father being present in a child’s life will have positive effect on their upbringing. John has two young children who miss him and love him dearly and need their father. He has had a opportunity to learn from his mistakes, and deserves to prove to the courts and society that he is worthy of a second chance and that he can be there to now help raise law abiding citizens in today’s society. He loves his family and friends and has expressed how the time he has served has shaped a new version of himself. We all deserve grace and mercy and I am hopeful just like you should be that God has done a great work in John to prosper and do great things for his community.
