Dog owners all over California are constantly being turned away from restaurants when they have their dogs with them due to the State wide law that prohibits dogs from being on the patio while their owners enjoy a meal. Why should they be turned away for simply wanting to enjoy an outing with mans best friend? They say that it is a health code violation but how can a dog on the patio floor be anymore of a health concern than the dogs passing by or even the many germs that people can carry? As long as they are not being fed off of restaurant dishes or flat ware what concern is there? The owners of the eateries are not happy about this. It upsets them just as much as it does the dog owners.
