Recently my Mother in law & her pet were attacked by a pit bull. She had to have 11 stitches in her hand. We would like the laws changed to make it hard for people to keep these kinds of animals where children regularly play. We want to have a signed petition to present to the next city council meeting at the end of July.

The stories coming in from others who have suffered similar attacks are exhausting to read but they confirm exactly why this fight is necessary. I am exhausted by the silence from the council office yet I am not walking away from this effort. We will keep pushing until the city acknowledges the danger.

Seeing this grow is exhausting but it gives me some hope that things might actually change. I spent the morning preparing the documents for the council and your support makes it feel less like a losing battle.

My neighbor has one of these and I never let my kids play outside anymore. We live in fear everyday. It needs to stop.

I hope she recovers well. This is getting out of hand.

Ban them. Simple as that.

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. Why are people allowed to own ticking time bombs around our children???

Keep them leashed and muzzled at the very least. Too many irresponsible owners out there who cant handle them.
