Office of the President Biola University Dear President Corey, Please give serious consideration to promoting the establishment of a doctoral degree program in Christian Apologetics/Science and Religion. It is an enormous honor and privilege to study under the world-class professors Biola is blessed to have in the Apologetics/Science and Religion department. While Biola is known as the premiere institution for such studies, it lacks a doctoral program. Some universities and seminaries that offer apologetics education have instituted this degree option (Liberty University and SBTS, for example), but it is our great desire to continue our education at Biola, under the professors and program directors we have come to know and revere during our graduate studies. We live at a point in church history where apologetics is becoming indispensable to evangelism and to impacting a culture that views Christianity as anti-intellectual. An advanced degree will further equip us to follow our calling, tear down strongholds, and bring glory to Christ. Thank you for your time and consideration on this matter.
