My own family members feel the sting of this law every single day as they drift further from their heritage. We are gaining momentum toward our goal but we must keep pushing right now to reach five hundred signatures. My own children deserve to keep their connection to our heritage and this petition is the way we show that history belongs to them too. We are almost at one hundred signatures so please send this link to your relatives who still feel the pull of our home.

Why is this taking so long? Lithuania should be more open like other european countries.

Es lo justo para nuestros hijos. Mi padre es lituano y no quiero que pierdan su cultura por temas de pasaporte.
Born in Chicago but my heart is in Vilnius. Please let us keep our citizenship.
Hope this changes soon. Hard to explain to my kids why they cant have the same passport as me.

Mi esposo es Lituano, yo soy Méxicana y si llegamos a tener hijos, me gustaria que ellos contaran con la Nacionalidad Lituana tambien.
