Many new vehicles have been back for new clutches, software updates and computer components, some more than 6 times over an 18 month period.
The truth is they cannot fix the problem, anecdotal reports suggest that they blame the women drivers for their driving style, oddly no man has come forward to say their driving style has been questioned, even though men are reporting the same issues. Consumers who have bought these new cars are left with vehicles which they cannot sell, the only option is to trade the vehicle back to Ford for a new car, at which time the Ford dealer will tell you the car isn't worth much because of the transmission problems.
Consumers are not protected by the Office of Fair Trading and big companies like Ford do not care about a hundreds or even a thousand unhappy customers.
It is time to make them care!
Let's get enough signatures to make Ford Australia sit up, take notice and do the right thing by their customers.

i am sick of feeling unsafe in my car. i have a 2012 ford focus trend. it jerks, it shudders, loses power and sometimes revs hard than it should. Thats just a little overview of the terrifying happenings. i have 2 young kids and i feel so unsafe driving in it... had clutch replaced and 6 mths later had to send it back. apparantly it needed calibrating and thats all.... YER SURE!!! ill believe it when i see it!!
2012 Ford Focus Trend needs it's 3rd clutch. Have had 2 breakdowns where i have had to get the car towed. Absolutely appalling
ive had my 2011 ford focus for 3.5 months and its had 3 major clutch fixes and replacements but the issues still persist. my driving was also commented on as a source of the problem, how insulting, what makes them believe that women are ignorant of the facts and their rights. we need to do something!
