I listened to the live stream council meeting on Monday (7/17). Kelli presented the concerns of this group very well. With grace and professionalism, Kelli also handled the rudeness that our mayor projected toward her. Thank you, Kelli for your presentation. And thanks to the other speakers who supported Kelli. This group has my support.

I am opposed to the high density of the new city of chesterfield. Also we should be informed by the city of chesterfield of these meetings with better signage than they are doing. Real estate size signs posted on busy streets. I was told by Petrie Powell that I should drive slower so I could read them. Also post cards were sent to residents within 250 feet of the mall about the meeting in June. What a joke

He contradicts himself in the interview. He discredits Dillard by saying “it’s all about the money”. Then he is proud about the money in this DT. Also- what did he mean - “this is unique- imitation is the highest form of flattery “! Huh?

The Chesterfield taxpayers should not be forced into paying for this "progress"

Quality over quantity! Make this a place worth living or people will move out eventually and your plans for short term tax gains will amount to nothing good for the long term.

Agree with all the concerns. We need more green space not more apartments.

Don’t want this much housing in the mall area … traffic is already a mess around that area as it is!

This would be terrible for the area.

We don’t need any more apartment buildings in Chesterfield. Please don’t pass this rezoning application!!

We have not even experienced the impact of all of the, uninhabited apartment buildings under construction. The proposed addition of these high rise structures will ruin the quality of life in Chesterfield. Vote No.

I am majorly concerned about increased population and traffic on Clarkson which is already congested! Congested traffic at present near strip malls on both sides of Clarkson near mall! Also, major congestion. Near Trader Joe’s side!!! Too many apartments already under construction!

I have serious concerns regarding this development, especially from safety concerns after adding so much housing to an area that is already overcrowded and overdeveloped. We do not have the infrastructure to support this development. Chesterfield is thriving and additional housing is not needed in our area.

This would cause traffic nightmares. It is inappropriate for the Chesterfield area. The Chesterfield Parkway area is already over developed.

Please take all signers of this petition under strong advisement. It is what the people want! Thank you.

This plan for high density living units is not consistent with the rest of Chesterfield and would create multiple traffic issues

Too many residential units in a small area
