Do Not Approve Chesterfield Mall Rezoning Application As Is

This development is much to dense in the proposed plans. Actual revenue generated from people who would live there will not cover the additional services needed, ie fire, police, roads, schools. Then the burden falls on to the homeowners in higher taxes. And since the city is in the tax pool any added revenue to the city will be shared with the tax pool participants.

I'm sick of all this development. We don't need more homes/apartments. Just makes more traffic where this is too much now. No respect for the environment!

In the almost 48 years my husband & I have lived here, we've seen a lot of changes. This is one change we don't want to have happen. With the plan as it is now, traffic will be terrible. If they proceed with the new plan, traffic & parking will be unbearable. If the proposed plan does go through, we will definitely consider moving. Chesterfield will no longer be a great place to live!

High density housing. Sounds like warehouses to me. It appears more and more that the powers that be are trying to shove us into little highrise cubicles. Not why I moved AWAY from the city and moved TO Chesterfield.

This is a poor plan with a poorly understood impact. I am opposed.

Do not pass the rezoning request. The density of the multifamily permitted is too high. We have enough apartments and condos in Chesterfield. Go to Wildwood.

Please stop residential apartment building and stop lights on wild horse creek! It is deplorable that no traffic studies have been done and they just keep adding lights.

Has anyone analyzed the impact of the proposed TIF on property taxes? The schools are going to have to look somewhere for funding if this development is exempt from Tax. Should the high density residential proposal increase the burden on the school districts to serve more students, will they have to look to increases in county property taxes to make up short fall? Everyone recognizes these taxes are too high especially for seniors (note the attempted but failed reduction for seniors in the county counsel). Maybe there is support for your cause among the factions that are looking to help seniors stay in their Chesterfield homes. It is a hot news topic.

I live in Monarch Trace Condo development bent to the Parx apartments. Almost 400 apartment units are in this 14 acre space . I don’t know how that happened but I expect it was a sweet heart deal. An abundance of apartments can cause a large number of undesirables to move in, resulting in lower property values. The Parx is a good example. We already have sufficient apartments in Chesterfield ….protect property values and restrict the number of non owners residents.

Enough is enough!!

Please stop this project. It will hurt Chesterfield irreparably.

Unless Clarkson Road is increased to four lanes in each direction, and the addition of elementary, middle and high schools, this project will cause major undue traffic and increased class sizes in our already full schools. Who, in their right mind, would even consider such a plan??

Too much multi family

Stop the apartments, traffic is awful already and our representatives have failed us

Clarkson Rd has so much traffic ,it's very hard to get in and out of most subdivision's and shopping centers.The city needs to step up and create more infrastructure prior to this development.

Our city government leaders once again cave to the almighty dollar.

Chesterfield is getting overpopulated and traffic is getting out of control.

We absolutely do not need more apartments or senior communities!

I am totally opposed to this! Now I’m wondering if this is why our real estate taxe rise was so high.
