Chesterfield is overbuilding dramatically and needs to be stopped! We already have overbuilding on wildhorse and this continues the trend. PLEASE STOP THIS TREND!

When I read this I was utterly stunned:
"2880 high density residential units being added to the city."
You could not dream up another way toi decimate the City of Chesterfiled by doing this!

Use your head. Highway 40 and Clarkson Road is one of the most prestigious intersections in the county. We do not need more housing/apartments in this area.

I agree with the concerns listed-require more detail on hi-density housing and traffic plan. Let’s go for premium solution instead of minimum cost -use Mall of America model instead of Dollar General.

I am very concerned with the proposed density of the Chesterfield Mall project. Besides the obvious traffic concerns that need much greater scrutiny, High -rise apartments with this proposed density will create greater security risks, thus taxing our Police more, as well as life-safety risks and a greater burden on Fire District resources. This just isn't the "Downtown Chesterfield" I want now or in the long-term - dense, up to 25 stories, 8000 people jammed on less than 100 acres. Think 25 years from now , I don't imagine these units are being built to Clayton aesthetics, which have aged gracefully. I oppose the plan the City P & Z commission unanimously approved recently. Please revisit it at Council level - very shocked it had absolutely no opposition when passed.

I am extremely disappointed by the number of apartment buildings and their proximity to each other. It is so closed in as to feel claustrophic when driving by. Please do NOT build any more apartments in this area, specifically not on the site of the former Chesterfield Mall. It is pure ugliness!
