Mr. Watson has made it clear in his exhibited behavior that he is not fit to substitute at the Early College Alliance. In my Applied Studies class, he looked over my phone to see my private text messages. My phone is my property and for him to do this is unprofessional and speaks volumes about his character as an adult. This is unacceptable. Within the parameters of the Applied Studies class, it is noted as a period in which you can get work completed, or simply do what you need to do. This “act” he pulled is disgusting. Also, in my CORE seminar class he very clearly targets students in the LGBTQ+ community and continues to never acknowledge pronouns, or apologizes. ECA needs to do better and must formally look into this

In my core class he asked a student with tourettes if they “could not,” when she ticced, after already being made aware she had TS. He also always picks on obviously queer students more than the straight students, and isn’t the type of teacher I believe best represents ECA and our core beliefs. He doesn’t respect pronouns, and I’ve never once heard him apologize or correct himself after misgendering somebody.

He wasn't following the covid guidelines by commonly having his mask down durring class. Also me and my peers needed to inform him about what the assignment was based on a little debrief we were given the day before. Overall not a good sub.

Mr. Watson always misgenders me even after i told him i go by he / him. Also he always tells me to stop talking but doesn't say nothing about any of the other students. The way Mr. Watson treats queer students is disgusting.

Mr. Watson constantly invalidates my pronouns. I will constantly tell him I use they/them pronouns and he always says he/him regardless of how many people have told him. He also calls me out for talking to much in class when I'm talking about classroom topics so I can get a better understanding, and he wont teach the class or help me understand.
