This is an abuse of power. This is an agreement between a tenant and a landlord. Nobody was being hurt. Only when the city got involved did people begin to be hurt. This is wrong.

Im siging this petition because i was born in Iron Range Virginia Mn. .ive always been proud of where i came from until i saw the Article of how this Veteran is being treated.its not right and i know how hard it is to try make ends meet on a limited income.but this Vet deserves to be treated better by our city council..i never thought our city council would do this..The Veteran and elderly lady deserve to be treated better and should be able to recieve some kind of help with getting a better living and not have to be worrird about being homeless..that is the worst feeling in the world to know you you coukd be homeless and still try recupperate from surgery..i thought very highly of little town. Until i saw they are going to make an Vet and elderly woman homeless..

There shouldn't even have had to be a petition. DL City Council has shown bad taste and politic bullying with out good favor. Time to clean house and the City Council and bring in human beings, not back snobby back scratchers.

I know a painter that would gladly help paint the outside. This is frivolous bureaucracy at it's finest. Everyone that voted against this Veteran should be forced out of their home as well.

DL City council should be ashamed of themselves. This man fought for our country. To be a free country. Give him the same rights you so desperately want. Don't tear this man down. He has already gone through more than most. Ya'll should show some respect to this gentleman. Let them get the house up to code and let him stay.

Sad that a disabled veteran and an elderly person would lose their home. City counsel has no heart.
