Dear Senator Mark Kelly, Senator Krysten Sinema, Representative David Schweikert, Attorney General Mark Brnovich, Governor Doug Ducey and President Joe Biden,
There is a non-profit group, endeavors.org, who serve as a sub-provider for the U.S. Government to house illegal/processing migrants. Without notice to the community, these illegal/processing migrants were moved into a vacant hotel in Scottsdale, bordering Paradise Valley, AZ. It is located within yards of a high school and senior living facility. Processing should be done at the border, not within our communities and only once a migrant has been processed, then they may enter our GREAT country. As a community of legal citizens, many of whom are registered voters, we want our voices heard. We want this detention center moved out of Scottsdale, AZ as quickly as it developed.
Sincerely,
Citizens of Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and the United States of America

I have spent this week meeting with local families who stay up at night worried about the proximity of this facility to our schools. The lack of transparency from officials remains insulting but we will not stop documenting the impact on our neighborhood.

We just hit our first hundred signatures and I am feeling incredibly encouraged by the local response. Seeing this many neighbors agree that our community is the wrong place for this facility confirms that I am not alone in my frustration.

My family lives just blocks away from this facility and the uncertainty in our neighborhood is becoming unbearable. We need to hit that one thousand signature mark today to show those in office that we are not going to look the other way. Please send this link to everyone in your contacts right now because we need to keep this momentum moving forward.

I'm opposed!!!!! This detention center should not now (or ever) be located in Scottsdale. The location is zoned for a hotel, not a prison or detention center (whatever you call it), the people currently housed there are law breakers PERIOD!!!
What a shame that we fund illegal people to be dropped on our streets by this administration. When our veterans deserve so so much more. Think what we could do with that cash for citizens/warriors that fight for our freedoms! System is so corrupt
Housing illegals in this location is totally unacceptable and endangers all residents. Out of necessity they will be all over the neighborhood and local businesses. It's fairly close to a high school and many residences. This is totally unacceptable!!!
To move people into a neighborhood without letting the people know about it, just goes to show you that you didn’t care about the citizens living there. Why didn’t you take them to YOUR neighborhood since you are the ones making the rules??????
As a resident of Scottsdale I implore you to hear the voices of these communities and remove this detention center which is in the midst of residential neighborhoods with many schools and houses of worship and done without the knowledge of it’s residents.
This federal detention center filled with illegal aliens is within a half mile of schools and neighborhoods. It would be impossible for the city or state or a private entity to place a detention center here given our zoning rules. This federal detention center must be closed down.
As a LEGAL immigrant I arrived in the U.S. in 1957. My family waited five years before we were able to enter with a 30 days notice. Why can't these people bide their time in their country of residence? I am sorry to say this, but my adopted country let me down because of the actions of our current government.

Resident of this neighborhood for over 14 years. Extremely concerned about community safety and influx of crime. This facility is a clear violation of Scottsdale zoning code and should be rectified as any other violation would within city limits.
