This federal detention center filled with illegal aliens is within a half mile of schools and neighborhoods. It would be impossible for the city or state or a private entity to place a detention center here given our zoning rules. This federal detention center must be closed down.

As a LEGAL immigrant I arrived in the U.S. in 1957. My family waited five years before we were able to enter with a 30 days notice. Why can't these people bide their time in their country of residence? I am sorry to say this, but my adopted country let me down because of the actions of our current government.

What next?? They will be taken over our houses/condos to come and live with us?? Good to have self-defense too against any possible future invasion/crime

Arizona is losing the battle to enforce laws. Why don’t we citizens get free lodging, pay no taxes, and commit crimes after the crime of coming here illegally?

Americans are fed up with the Marxist agenda. The Democrat agenda is to completely destroy America. Stop lying to the American people!!!! Stop endangering law abiding citizens with illegal criminals being housed at a hotel being paid with our tax dollars!

No detention centers in Scottsdale for migrants. Use the hotel for our homeless vets.

Respectfully , there are many local homeless who could use a Hotel to stay in. I’m also sure there are US Veterans who might also benefit from a place to rest their heads and have meals provided. Would prefer tax dollars be allocated for actual US citizens.
