April 12th in Disneyland, my friends and I decided to ride the Tower of Terror. In thinking of the perfect picture idea, my straight friend and I came up with staging a very gay kiss to freak out our friends. When the picture turned out realistic enough to scare our friends, we went to buy it as a momento of our prank. However, the cashier refused to sell us the picture, claiming we were breaking guidelines. I was so disappointed, I set out to investigate. We put our friend on the ride with his girlfriend and had them kiss. When they looked at the picture, they were encouraged to buy this by the cashier. Yes, Disney seems to be becoming more progressive and helping shape society, but this act of discrimination is something that needs to be addressed.
