With all the recent decisions made by the USA I think it's finally time to not perceive homosexual relationships as "abnormal." Disney is obviously hungry for new ideas as they have announced that they are re-making Disney originals such as "Snow White" and "The Jungle Book."
Earlier this year it was rumored that Disney was infact going to make a movie with two princes who fall in love, the movie was going to be a adaptation from Jeffrey A. Miles’ children’s book "The Princes and the Treasure." The book is about 2 princes who go on a adventure to find a princess but then realize that they actually love each other and eventually get married in the end and live happy lives. Sounds very Disney, doesn't it? Disney later released statement saying that they would NOT be making a adaptation of the book into a disney film.
Why wouldn't Disney make a adaptation? Is because Disney hates gays? Of course not! Disney loves the LGBT community. So why would Disney not make this great book into a movie? I think one of the main reasons is because they believe it won't sell. Which is where we prove them wrong. I want to create this petition to show Disney that they should in fact make the movie and it will sell (probably better than all of their movies)
