I was watching Pocahontas and I realized that there were very few minority Disney princesses. For over all the years Disney has made many princesses. Only 4 out of god knows how many Disney princesses (very popular ones makes it 12) are a minority. There is only Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan and Tiana. To me that is very unfair being Puerto Rican and not being able to grow up with no Hispanic princess. I believe that one should be made so little girls who are any type of Hispanic nationality can look up to someone just like them. I am only noticing this now because I am 16 years old. When I was younger I had no princess to look up to who was just like me and I am really sad I never had the chance to. Now, I do know they are featuring a supposed Hispanic 'princess' in a children's TV show on Disney Jr. But, there needs to be a Disney princess with her OWN movie. I want this petition to get as many signatures as possible. We deserve a Hispanic Disney princess and so do the young girls who are Hispanic. I take pride in my culture and I want all the young girls out there to as well. It is 2015, this shouldn't be an issue. I demand that we get the princess we deserve,
