I want to get signatures to have this vacuum discontinued in removed my grandson was born February 1st 2019 after they did the birth with a vacuum not once not twice not three times before failures then they decided to do a C-section. Just left my grandson's had very disfigured I'm sure it was painful red swollen blisters and bloody they put a cap on his head and laid him on his mother then took him and gave him to his dad. That's okay except I told them not to take the cap off of his head five hours went by before they even checked my grandson's head to see if his oxygen was okay and if the circumference of his brain was swelling. 5 hours later when I come in and started raising hell did they then realize they better do something. First time my grandson saw NICU was five and a half hours after his birth. Please help us stop to use some of this unnecessary tool
I am currently compiling medical reports and incident accounts to prepare a formal grievance for the hospital review board. My focus is finalizing a letter to the state health department to demand a review of delivery protocols involving vacuum extraction. Further updates regarding their response will follow once the correspondence is delivered.

The increase in momentum confirms that this issue requires formal review by hospital administrators. I have initiated contact with medical safety boards to present our compiled documentation.

Discontinue the vacuum procedure now used for assisting with child birth. It causes harm to the babies and there has been no evidence that shows it’s safe and works 100% of the time without causing harm to babies

I strongly agree that vacuum and forceps should not be used during labour babies are getting hurt damaged and could end up with long term defects or disabilities

Please, please don't let these children suffer the drastic affects of this device. Do away with it. Let it be gone.
