The Marine who threw a puppy into a ravine in Iraq and made a video of it should be immediately discharged, dishonorably, from the United States Marine Corps. This is not why the U.S. is in Iraq and not what U.S. taxpayers expect from our armed services. Abusing animals is a universally recognized sign of mental illness, and this man is not fit to serve in the armed forces of the U.S.
