The Board of Directors at City Market need a history lesson. Denying the DiCapo family a license to sell cookies is inconceivable to me. It is an insult the DiCapo name. Carl DiCapo has done more to promote KC than anybody.

Not allowing DiCapo's homemade cookies anywhere in KC while allowing those from outsiders is like bringing in BBQ from outside of KC to compete. They tried it - it failed. We want DiCapo's

The DiCapo's have every right, to be a vendor "selling" their merchandise/cookied at the City Market. I am confused how they (people who approve this) can say the already have a vendor who makes cookies.
Look around you City Market committee, that is all you see already the same "type" of vendors selling the same thing 2 booths down from the other person. I believe City Market you are being hypocritical and showing favoritism. Shame on you.
Just my opinion.
Prayers are with you John David, Sug & Carl.

This is shameful. The City should not be picking winners and losers. There is enough business for all, let the free market decide.
