There has been a planning application for 61 houses of Canterbury Drive, Washingborough with access via 15 Canterbury Drive which is to be demolished for the builders to gain access.

Although this might not affect you directly it will mean another 421 people trying to get into the doctors and with 2 car parking spaces per property there will be at least 100 extra vehicles coming in and out of this road.

Previous applications gained 260 signatures in a petition so your assistance in getting this application refused would be appreciated.

We haven't much time to make our feelings known as there is a Parish Council Meeting on 30th April 2020 at 2pm. This is a virtual meeting so you will need to email [email protected] for meeting ID and password.

Please call, text or email your neighbours to inform them of the meeting and details of this petition.

The momentum behind this effort is genuinely overwhelming and serves as a reminder of how many people care about our neighborhood. I am exhausted by the fight but seeing so many of you join in keeps me going as we head toward the meeting.

No suitable access to the site. No room in local schools or Doctors Not in walk distance to amenities, so more pollution. It's not going to stop at 61 houses it will continue to two other fields which can only come out in that one corner. Are the drains, surface water big enough to take ALL the new houses not just the 61.

This development is not required within Washingborough,Canterbury Drive makes a natural boundary to the village.

Don't need anymore properties built in this village/area. The village is already at capacity and there are already more houses going to be built within the village boundary. Next it will be classed as a town. Please stop this unnecessary building of properties in a lovely field setting, keep it for the wild life and not more pollution with more cars in the area and housing to cause more flooding especially at the properties at the low end of Canterbury drive.
