Tranmere Rovers' attempts to develop Ingleborough playing fields has been met with opposition claiming the club are being less than sensitive to the memory of those lost during WW1. We believe the club's plan to re site the memorial and maintain the trees planted is a fitting and just tribute and as such should be encouraged to use this land to reduce its debt and redevelop the Woodchurch leisure centre site. This will enable the wirral's premier football club to prosper and progress, continuing the great work it does within our community. and enhancing the sporting infrastructire of the Wirral.
I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the momentum this has gained lately. This progress belongs entirely to you because I never imagined so many people would care about the future of our club like this.

The club is doing great things for the kids around here. It needs this land to stay afloat. Move the memorial and get on with it.

This will be so much better for the woodchurch site. Everyone is so quick to say no without thinking about the benefits for our local teams.

TRANMERE TILL I DIE. We need a proper facility or we are going nowhere. The memorial won't be disrespected it's just being moved.

Ridiculous that people are trying to stop this. It helps everyone in the long run. Get it built.

The club needs the cash to survive. This is the only way forward.
