This neighborhood is special because of it's old world feel and clear skyline. It would be a shame to make this look like every other part of the city. In particular as our neighborhood is already changing so much, let's protect what we can.

Developpers'greed in DC is just staggering, and the fact they tried to slip this condo building in the plans, hoping no one would notice says it all.

We need to unite this Ward 6 battle with the others!

The former Southeastern University fit into this SW neighborhood very well; the proposed 10 story building would be way out of place. The neighborhood is already becoming overdeveloped and overcrowded.

I oppose this construction due to the negative effect it will have in the children's environment.

Please do not build a high rise next to the Kids' school because it will block the sightseen and create a dark atmosphere for the kids. Thank you

I join the petitioners in opposing the proposed high rise building on the site of the Shakespeare Theater offices in SW. The Waterfront development along with other building in the area threatens to overwhelm the infrastructure in the area. As others have cited, the population explosion created by the ongoing development will destroy what is left of the ambiance of the SW neighborhood. Do not build the high rise

Parking is all ready a major problem in this area. We don't even have space for a visitor or loved one who wants to visit and park. Please give us a break.

Growth is needlessly stifling and destroying the tranquil neighborhood I've lived for 30 years..we'really already waking up daily at 7:10th to pounding on the Wharf Development..(nice for seniors with sleep disorders already)... construction specs should ensure no audacious noise prior to 7:45a.m.
