Re: This is a petition calling for urgent action in relation to the derelict sites at:-
1) The former Fish Inn public house site on the corner of Commonside and Bryce Road, Pensnett;
2) The former Commercial public house site on the corner of Bromley and Mullet Street, Pensnett.
We, the undersigned, call upon Dudley Council:-
To exert all reasonable pressure on the owners to complete the development of their sites within the next 12 months;
Failing the above, to use Compulsory Purchase Orders and/or all other statutory powers to buy the above sites and to oversee their development, sympathetically to the needs of the local community.

I have been in contact with local planning officials to discuss the current status of these derelict properties. The feedback from residents remains a vital tool as we press for the council to exercise their statutory powers.

The momentum behind this petition highlights the clear consensus among residents that these derelict sites must be addressed. This groundswell of public interest ensures that Dudley Council will take notice of our request for urgent action.

I've lived in Pensnett for 30 years & I would love it see it redeveloped, Pensnett is a great place to live & it would be nice to show other towns that it is a nice place to visit
I live opposite the Commercial Inn, for 5 and half years. It is dangerous, a home for rats, looks disgusting. It is devaluing our house, and we are unable to sell our home. All the community want to see it demolished and developed along with the old fish Inn around the corner. Big thank you to all people involved trying to get this sorted, as a community we will get this done!
Theres no need for Pensnett to be ab eyesore... lets get the buildings or land back into use .. when i first moved into Pensnett 30 years ago, all the shops were open ... there were pubs on every street corner, and there was a strong sense of community ... now, i barely know my neighbours, the social meeting places are shut or hardly doing trade ... we need to get a sense of community back into the Heart of Pensnett and Bromley .. a nice cafe and drop in center for all ages, where people can get together at any time ... im sure would be a welcome addition to occupy one of these eyesores ... xx

Something needs to be done with these two buildings as they are just left for vermin & especially fly tippers on the old public house car park
Such a lovely walk until we are confronted with these bikes. Very dangerous to be on same path with small children.
These buildings are a disgrace and should be pulled down

i live by commercial some one will get hurt have to walk in road lorry park on pavement glass and nails and now pavement uneven from lorry trees been dump just one mess
