Stop being so risk averse. Skateboard parks are provided in other European countries. Why not here?

A skate park would be a great addition to the city. It would give skaters a place to meet and improve their skills- they have nowhere just now and so and up in shared spaces which often causes difficulty. Fort George would be ideal.

Derry has been crying out loud for years for the DCC council to build a skatepark, NOW is the time that the skatepark is needed more than ever as hundreds of Derry people Has started gotten into skating more than ever especially the past few months. A skatepark will allow young people to skate in a safe environment and gives people to have an wider open door to what skating can offer especially when we have three top professional skaters who r originally from the north west , Derry/Donegal. #GET DERRY A SKATEPARK!!!
