These wains need a skate park. Isnt it great they have a sport and a hobby. And such talent. Let's celebrate it.

Scootering is the only sport my son with Aspergers feels comfortable taking part in. For someone who struggles in social groups and team sports it has given him a outlet for connecting with like minded people, he is like a different child when at a skate park. They are generally such an encouraging environment as all the riders can empathise with learning new skills and tricks.

I would absolutely love for a public skatepark to be built,. How about instead of spending money on deterring skaters with bumps and obstacles that stop public street skating and use that money for a public skatepark instead!

It is an Olympic sport and a great art form for developing youths to stay out of trouble, it should not be left out in the wilderness and treated as shameful or criminal.
