Derry has a great local skate scene. A skatepark for the people of Derry and surrounding areas is long overdue!

When I see people using official skateboard areas in other cities Im always reminded that ours have to seek out their own unofficial areas and become nded

The dexterity acquired by children while skateboarding morphes into neurological functions which in turn express themselves as capabilities in thinking. Holding your physical balance under difficult circumstances is a foundation on which a balanced mind and heart can be built and developed.
