This is a badly needed space for the young skaters in our city.. most cities have had a skate park for yrs and there’s no reason why we don’t have 1

The area closed of in St Columb’s Park where the zip line is would be a perfect place for a skateboard park. St Columb’s would then be catering for everyone; The Young, the Old, Skateboarders, Cyclists, Runners and Dog walkers I’m not from the City, But I go walking there 5 nights a week and I see loads of kids around Ebrington Square on their skateboards. I hope this happens for them.

Think somewhere down the bay road in behind da vinci's Hotel or down in behind Salisbury's supermarket.

It is most important that young people have a skateboarding area in Derry and one that is cross community. Surely Ebrington would be ideal.

Please consider including an asphalt pump track. Much more conducive to a wider user group.

My daughter is 11 and has bought herself a penny board and long board during longtime. Problem is there are not a lot of places she can take them. Something like this would be great!
