both my sons have been at the skate parks from they were toddlers, and miss it very much... it would be a fantastic addition to the city and provide much needed amenities for active kids.

People in Derry and the northwest have been asking for this for a generation. Funding should be made available to finally make it happen. Physical activity, skills development, health and wellbeing, bringing young people together - it would tick all the boxes required! I hope my kids have a chance to use it before they grow older.

People have been talking about a skatepark since before I was born.
It's overdue & there are many derelict lots around the town that would be suitable.
