In regards to James Alexander Love, inmate #00028450 and his parole hearing on April 28, 2021, my signature on this petition is to ask that you deny his parole.

Love was convicted of murder in 2nd degree and sentenced to 300 years in person (150 yrs for each murder) for the killing of Sheila Curtright (14) and Jeffrey Berger (2) on New Years Eve 1975, two innocent children's lives cut short because of James Alexander Love.

Instead of celebrating milestones over the last 46 years, these families have had to recount the horrible memories of this night every 4 years when Love comes up for parole. Over the years the mothers were forced to pass along to the horrific story, memories and responsibility to their children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and family members to continue to be the voices for Shelia & Jeffery, in order to keep this killer behind bars.

Love's parole hearing is on April 28, 2021 and I ask you to please deny his parole. Allow the Berger & Curtright families to have closure, mourn, move forward, and stop having to suffer this horrendous pain. Jeffrey & Sheila were lost at a very young age all because of this man, don't make the decision to ruin more lives by his release.

No family should ever have to experience the loss of a child, let alone experience the pain of murder and then fighting for your loved ones to keep their killer behind bars.

Thank you for your consideration.

Respectfully,
