The babysitters brother was in my class in school and not only were those poor babies lives lost, but the affect on the families was a lifetime effect and the killer should have no less a sentence.

As an extended part of one of these families, it is important that James Love does not get the opportunity to live as a free man. He took the lives of two young people and crushed the lives of countless family members, friends, neighbors; an entire community.

Do not let this monster back on our streets! I have an 8 year old daughter and 4 amazing nieces that deserve to be safe....not to mention all of the precious children in our community. These two sweet children didn't deserve to die in such a heinous way. Their lives were cut short and this man does not deserve freedom!

I lived in Lee's Summit at the time of of murders. Anyone who could do something so awful and then have the nerve to go back to the dance and dance with the mother of one of the children should never be released. James Love deserves life in prison. Too bad they weren't able to put him to death!

I am extremely opposed to Love’s parole. Love was convicted of the murders of Shelia Curtright, age 14, and Jeffrey Berger, age 2 ½. I realize that this crime occurred New Years of 1974, but feel that the parole of this man would put the community in danger and the victims’ families at extreme risk.

I personally knew the babysitter and her family. He should never be allowed to walk free since he has never had any remorse- ever. Please don't set this evil person free

My mother was brutally murdered when I was 7 years old. Her murderer was never convicted and continues to walk free. I frequently go online hoping that I'll find an obituary for him because justice was never served. I pray that this guy never walks free because I know too well what it feels like realizing that a person got away with taking the life of someone near and dear to you.

What a horrible thing to have thought of, acted out. There where so many moments to stop and say, I shouldn't do this, this is wrong, I hear them cry and change my heart. I hope you never re-enter society and that in prison you find joy in the Lord.
