This PETITION/APRIL 2024 is for the purpose of NOT GRANTING the Cannabis Dispensing Organization their intention of dispensing cannabis at 9122 South Kedzie Avenue, Evergreen Park, Illinois.
This area located in the 9100 block of South Sawyer Avenue (the front of these homes facing west) on Sawyer Avenue, Evergreen Park, Illinois the rear of these properties facing east are approximately 20' directly from the rear of the cannabis dispensing organization parking lot and building; This might have a negative impact on the value of these residential homes. Possible considerable increase of foot and vehicle traffic will compromise the safety of our children, pets and ourselves and is also a negative impact on the value of these residential homes & VILLAGE.

The silence from the planning board is heavy, but it only confirms that we need to keep pushing for our neighborhood. I have spent the last few days mapping out the traffic concerns to present at the next local hearing because this location is simply not safe for our families.

I always made the effort to "keep the green in evergreen", if this facility goes in I'll make the effort not to frequent any ep business. I will also will relocate out of ep once my son is out if rice
Why did the village only send the letter out to people within 200 feet of this dispensary? This affects ALL residents of the community.
I do not support a cash business that will draw the attention of armed robbers who will possibly hurt anyone in their way. I do not agree with the increased traffic directly behind my property. This will lower our home value. I also don’t like the smell as my property line is less than 10’ from 9122 s kedzie.
The high school children already abuse weed. Let's not make it more accessible. Additionally, that property is very close to the park. We don't need to put our children in danger.
They’re trying to keep it under low, low hey also changed the ordinance 300ft from any school , park and residential homes when it used to be 1000ft!

I live in EP. On any given day the ,"skunk" smell is in our village parking lots and trailing from the cars in front of us. Don't contribute to more addiction. The village can't need to the money that badly.
