For years our Montgomery County Kentucky Fiscal Court hasn’t started their meeting with the Pledge or Prayer. There isn’t even a flag in the room. The Pledge brings Americans together, & reminds everyone we are one nation under God. Prayer provides comfort and guidance for our leaders and our community. It’s time for change in the Fiscal Court.

The response to this petition proves that our community is fed up with the Fiscal Court ignoring our values. It is time for these officials to stop dragging their feet and put that flag in the room where it belongs.

This country was founded on God. Its not right to take him out of the court system.

I absolutely believe these meetings should begin with the pledge and should also have a flag in the room to say it towards . This shouldnt have to be forced upon a servant of our community. For too long our leaders of many levels of government and organizations everywhere have done this and I'm sorta surprised that the fiscal court in Mt Sterling does not , but with all the anti Americanism going on today I'm can say I'm not shocked. Step it up Montgomery County !!!!

The Fiscal Court needs to start the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance. They do it up in Frankfort.

I do believe every official county meeting should start with the pledge of allegiance.
