Prayers and condolences are not enough. We need action in protecting our children and all community member by adding additional safety measures to intersections that are in clear need. Crossing guards, changing in light signals, cameras and police presence during school crossing and high tragic hours.

I graduated in 2018, had to walk home every day from school. I live fairly close but even in just the short distance I had to go it was always dangerous between speeding vehicles or even fellow students trying to make it out of parking it was never safe. Now I drive past the same area and I still wonder how someone isn’t hurt or killed everyday with the reactive driving and congestion on a daily basis. Something should be done to protect these babies and others on the road. Be the difference and do better Glendale.

Our kids deserve better and safety! The traffic is horrible with no end in sight. Safety should be everyone’s top concern.

There should be more care for the safety of the students in this heavily congested area.

All school zones should have lower speed limit. Flashing lights might help. It all costs money, but a child's life is priceless!

100% this needs to happen. I personally witnessed 2 kids get hit in this exact spot last school year!

Police should be present every morning when the school is starting and letting out. Those lights are so bad for traffic flow. It should not take 20 minutes to drop a kid off at school. There’s been a problem for a long time.
