Demand Immediate School Zone Safety Improvements Mountain Ridge Area

I've lived in this area for 12 years and my kids grew up in this neighborhood. This is LONG overdue.

Patrick and 71st has no crossing grad kids have been hit there in the past. Make rules on e bikes no more e bikes please

Yes we need to ensure the safety of our children going to And from work.

There have been too many accidents on 67th and 59th avenues between Union Hills and Deer Valley Road the past 18 - 24 months. Not all of them involved children.

Crossing guards and traffic police are needed. 2,900 students trying to get to the high school at the same time. Too much congestion. Police presence is needed there.

We need more crossing guards or police presence around bc these issues have been a problem for years. Our kids need more safety especially during the school year.

This shouldn't have to come down to signing a petition to keeping our kids safe.

I have personally called 911 for two accidents in the last year within blocks from the school. These children were ran over while riding their bikes —cara weren’t paying attention. One child had a bone sticking out of his leg, the other had profuse head bleeding with most of his teeth, broken out. Both these kids had to be extracted from underneath trucks. We are no protecting our kids. Something has to change!!

Live in the neighborhood, my kids have attended all 3 schools at one point. Change is needed, law enforcement, better drivers and perhaps better planning/flow etc for school traffic and planning.
