Demand for Healthcare reform in Anniston Alabama

This hospital was disgusting when I visited and some of the nurses made me feel as if I was a problem they had to deal with. I was hooked up to an iv couldn’t get up on my own and one even said “you seem like u can do this without me” and I very much so couldn’t. She also dropped my Medicine on the nasty floor and gave it back to me. This hospital needs help.

Care at this facility has really been lacking and should be looked into

Sad to see what it has become. Can't blame just the management, if the roots are rotten the top will still be green and fall over at anytime.

The only redeeming factor of the hospital is the amount of beautiful young ladies hired. Love coming in to work.

This so called "hospital" made me leave when my mother was locked up in the covid wing. I was not in contact with my mother for 30 days. I was simply sitting in the waiting room in case my mother's condition improved or got worse. Other people were also in the waiting room. I always wore my mask as required and maintained distance from everyone else. An "administrator" came to me one day and stated that must leave the waiting room because "covid patients could not have visitors." I was never allowed to enter the covid wing (upstairs). I was simply trying to be present as an advocate for my mother. My mother fought for her life and was eventually released from "lock up" in the covid wing and transferred to ICU. She passed away in ICU. I documented every conversation i had with the medical staff/administrators. I also have all of her medical records. Me getting kicked out was only 1 issue i encountered with this place. I can also convey all of the issues with the "care" that my mother received while at this place.

Hospital needs to change! End of story! My child nor myself will n never step foot back in this Hospital. Ill go to gasden, or centre , bham. Before going to this hospital, wouldnt even take my dog or any animal.

psych facility is managed horribly

So many locals feel like they have to travel an hour or two or even out of state to receive quality healthcare and that needs to change

Let me in the er in labor refusing to take me to labor and delivery because they said I want far enough along to be in labor and I delivered my son in the er alone then they tried to say he had no hope and wasn’t going to help him. Finally he was moved to Birmingham and I was left in a room all day and never seen anyone not even a doctor. I signed myself out so 5 that afternoon and had him at 1 am

The last time I went there I was so sick i couldn’t take it anymore. No test where given, no exam, no X-rays i waited for 8 hrs just to be sent home. My husband went with a bad shingles rash, and again nothing. No meds, no exam, nothing. And I told the so called nurse practitioner what I thought it was and he without looking at it said yep that’s it, and signed off on it. It’s scary to think that we live in such an area to where emergency care is really not an option. We hold off until we can see our family Dr, but a lot of us doesn’t get that option either and by time we get to the hospital it’s too late! Their lack of empathy and medical care makes us feel that we have to travel 30 to 45 minutes away just for decent healthcare.

Stopped using several years ago. We definitely need answers. Need the problems resolved ASAP.

Do better

Took a homeless guy there who was tweaking and they gave him horse tranquilizer and body slammed him through a Stryker stretcher. Keep in mind the guy was 725 pounds. He later succumbed to his injuries and we had to do a lot of paperwork.

We need open transparency on the protocols beingdone

My #1 customer got bery sick after eating the pork and they pump his stomach too much and he die. Loss so much money

Give the nurses a raise

They left my son in the waiting room with a herpes infection to his eyelids.
