Great day! My name is DeLon Slaughter and I would love to serve as the Executive Secretary of SBA for the 2021-22 school year. Moreover, I am an active member of both the Wolverine Bar Association, and the Black Law Student Association.

I am a proud graduate of the University of Michigan, where I studied Sociology with a concentration in Law, Justice, and Social Change. Throughout the duration of my collegiate career, I served as an executive board member for the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. (Phi Chapter), the Black Undergraduate Law Association, and 812 Christian Ministries.

In addition to serving on the executive boards for the organizations mentioned above, I also had the opportunity to serve my native community as an academic interventionist at one of DPSCD several under-resourced schools. This opportunity was extremely rewarding, and continues to fuel my motivation to advocate for those without a voice.
