Other states have found better methods of patching roads using materials other than blacktop. Find a way that works and use it.

I couldn’t even get my fiancé to his appointment at the WVU Cancer Center this morning, and he is pretty sick. He really needed to see the doctor today. But we couldn’t even get out of our driveway because cars were stuck all over Stewartstown Road hill. It’s a disaster every time it snows - the DOH does nothing.

The roads in Mon county are horrendous! Snow removal and salt treatment are basically nonexistent. Businesses take a huge hit economically and employees are not able make it to their jobs. Insurance rates increase! Please make road improvements a priority!

We pay our taxes, too. We should not have to beg to have our roads taken care of.

Please drive a solution, after hearing individuals missed chemo treatment and dialysis due to being in a standstill of traffic.

We need to do better with our roads in Morgantown! Areas around us are operating fine and we are at a stand still! Absolutely ridiculous!

I have always said we need to subcontract and have infrastructure in this state- we have none. We need to hold people accountable and we don’t.

Governor Justice we have some of the absolute worst roads in the state and as a border city at the intersection of two interstates it is embarrassing when visitors travel through Morgantown and have to deal with the condition of our roads. Monongalia County is often the first impression travelers get to West Virginia and the road conditions just give more ammunition for the stereotypes our great state has had to endure over the years. Many students choose WVU to attend college and once again it is an embarrassment when their parents arrive and see the condition of the roads. Imagine what must be going through their minds and are they wondering if their child mad a mistake coming to a state that can't maintain its basic infrastructure. Many in northcentral WV feel you have ignored our needs and only focused on the southern portion of the state. Let's not forget the governor is supposed to represent all counties when they take the oath of office as governor. Please do the right thing and pass this bill to fix our roads. Thank you.

We desperately need funding to be shared appropriately in a county that has suffered because of the amount of traffic and lack of funding distributed to provide upkeep on our roads.

please help us fix Harner Run and the start of Pierpont Heights Rd. They are in terrible condition. We have a local surgeon who lives at the top of Pierpont Heights Dr. I know he must be able to get to his patients at Mon. General hospital. We have Gov. employees, WVU hospital employees, all living at Pierpont Heights. This road is in horrible shape. The children, here, must either walk a mile to the bus stop at The Nazarene Church, or have parents arrange to deliver them/pick them up from Pierpont Heights. Please help us repair Harner Run and the bottom (state owned) portion of Pierpont Heights Rd.
