In 2019, Delegate John Williams was the lead sponsor of HB 3044, a bill that would give Monongalia County additional millions of dollars in roads funding. John got it passed through the House, and passed through the Senate, but the Governor vetoed it. As the legislative session approaches, John needs YOUR help. John wants to have thousands of signatures on a petition, urging the Governor to sign the bill into law the next time it reaches his desk. Sign the petition to show that Monongalia County is FED UP with our terrible roads.
Mon country roads are a disgrace. To have the flagship university in Morgantown with thousands of visitors coming into the state, our roads portray a bad portrait of the state of WV. With all of the out of state visitors coming into Morgantown you would think the Governor would want to showcase Morgantown/Mon county.
