This petition is an attempt by the fanbase of the manga Ghost Hunt by Fuyumi Ono and illustrated by Shiho Inada to convince the publishers at Del Rey Manga, an imprint of Del Rey Books under Ballantine Books, to reprint this wonderful work. The final volume was never released in English, but a sequel has been released in Japan, Akumu no Sumu Ie, which has reignited fan interest. Old volumes are in high demand, some—particularly the later volumes--selling for up to $85 on eBay due to their rarity. This is a great opportunity for profit for Del Rey. We realize that it takes time, energy, and money to bring about such a reprint, but we assure them that it will be worth it.

Ghost Hunt is a classic with a deep seated longevity in the hearts of the fans.
God please, I've been searching for this series in print for years but it's so damn expensive since it's out of print.

Interest in Ghost Hunt has never faded and has actually increased since the re-release of the original light novels with the new artwork. It would be absolutely perfect if the manga (English editions) were to be made available again. The original prints are so rare that when they do appear on sites like eBay or Amazon, volumes are priced at over £100! Some, like volume 11, are practically inexistent due to their rarity. I’m certain that many people, myself included, would gladly rush and buy the entire collection if released again. If volume 12 can also be officially translated, that would be the cherry on top!
