We, fans of the When They Cry series around the world, are writing to express our sincere wish for a modern anime remake of Umineko no Naku Koro Ni — one that fully captures the depth, mystery, and emotion of the original visual novel.
Umineko is a beloved masterpiece of storytelling, and with the continued success of Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni remakes and adaptations, we believe the time is right to revisit Umineko with the animation quality and narrative fidelity it deserves.
This petition aims to demonstrate worldwide interest in an Umineko anime remake and to show that the fan community is eager to support it through official channels, including purchasing merchandise, DVDs, Blu-rays, and potentially contributing through crowdfunding if made available.

I really liked it's manga since I couldn't get my hand on VN. The manga made me read this series.... The narrative style, the premise, philosophy and character dynamics? Awesome... Also I want to see bernkastle and featherine animated so bad.
Un amigo me ha mostrado el manga de Umineko y me ha encantado me encantaría ver un anime que este a la altura del manga igual se que este comentario no haga mucha diferencia pero espero que su peso sea lo justo no soy ni escritor ni nada pero de verdad quiero apoyar este fandom el cual me da gusto formar parte de el - A friend showed me the Umineko manga and I loved it. I would love to see an anime that lives up to the manga. I know this comment won't make much of a difference, but I hope it's fair. I'm not a writer or anything, but I really want to support this fandom, which I'm glad to be a part of.
Higurashi had a successful anime adaptation and expansion of the story which has become a cult hit and cultural cornerstone for metamodern horror. Umineko is a story that deserves a well directed and complete adaptation as well.
Umineko genuinely changed how I process fiction as a whole. I would love to see a faithful remake of all 8 episodes that truly captures what makes the story so special to me and a lot of others across the world. This story deserves to be experieced by many more people and I think a good faith anime adaptation can achieve just that.
If this does ever happen. I hope it's not just a one to one remake of the manga but something that was truly made with love. Fluid character movements, amazing animation, and great visual symbolism and special effecta that would make every dialogue not a chore for the average viewer to watch. It's gotta be flashy and mesmerizing on top of a faithful adaptation. It's gotta be PERFECTO!!!
Why? Same reason, because I wanted that fully captures the depth, mystery, and the emotion. And Umineko is a place where I belong, a new fandom that I'm in. even the 07th Expansion. and I wish for this day. where people sign this petition, maybe motivate, and convince people to sign this. I would be proud. So in all my hearts, I sign this petition as a fan, or a Global Fan of Umineko No Naku Koro Ni. And may we all together stand before the gates of golden land.

Umineko is one of my favorite pieces of fiction ever made and I want more people to know about it It having a good anime adaptation will make it easier to reccomend to people ('cus not everyone wants to read a 120h vn) and an actual good anime adaptation has the potential to become one of the best animes ever made
