Current definition; CHAPTER 18App. Appendix A: Glossary § 18App-1. Definitions. BED-AND-BREAKFAST A residential building: A. That contains a permanently occupied dwelling unit; B. That contains no more than five guest rooms, which may not have individual exterior entrances; C. That provides overnight lodging not exceeding 30 consecutive days; and D. Where guests may receive only one meal per day, to be served between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Proposed Insert to Definition of Bed and Breakfast E. Which may also host gatherings for guests, including, but not limited to, parties, picnics, weddings and receptions, commensurate with the size of the residential building, provided that all amplified music must occur inside the residential building and all food and drink is provided by outside vendors and not prepared onsite.
