Let's help prevent the school shootings. By allowing teachers who wish to get their CCDW (Conceal Carry Deadly Weapons) we can greatly reduce the chances of our children being harmed in the school setting. By allowing the teachers to defend against an active shooter in school, this will help reduce the killing spree of the individual and further protect our childrens lives. Even if the police responce time is 5 minutes or less the time the teacher has could save lives. The 12 students, 1 teacher could have been limited greatly had a teacher been able to protect our children in Columbine. In Connecticut the 20 children and 26 total death toll could have been drastically decreased by several teachers who want to protect our children just by having the means to protect themselves and our young ones. Lets not blame guns anymore and start by blaming evil people in society. Lets reduce this kind of tragedy before it happens to anymore of our children.
