This petition is aim at showing support at defeating the HB-1 Bill, introduced by Georgia State Rep. Bobby Franklin (R). The bill would force women to provide proof that their miscarriage occurred naturally. Felony charges are the consequence for women that cannot provide proof that there was no human intervention in their miscarriage. This bill violates the Roe vs. Wade (1973), which gives women the right to privacy in these matters. It is the position of the medical community that miscarriages happen naturally, and are common. There is still no known cause or cure for miscarriages, making it impossible for a woman to be able to provide proof. This petition is to show clear support for DEFEATING this bill. In a sensitive time as during a miscarriage a women should not be subjective to police questioning. This bill is an all out attack on women, and will not be tolerated by the residence of Georgia, or the citizens of the United States. Together lets stand up against Rep. Bobby Franklin (R), and his bill that attacks women’s rights and freedom.
