The so call playground is a joke /no one in their right mind will allow their child or children to play down in that hole in the ground. Use the playground for something else like a gym, tennis court, or basketball court.

Yes, I agree fees are too high and that we, as a community are being taken advantage of regarding these fees.. I think it's unethical and unfair and needs to be investigated.. Futhermore, I too, totally agree with the previous comments of my fellow neighbors.. Thanks Deerfoot Pointe for coming together as a community to address this concern..

We have a walking trail and playground that are clearly not maintained with our dues. Unless those areas are upgraded and other amenities added, I do not see how an increase in dues can be justified.

we live at 4820 deer foot cove, i have called to report the street light in our yard going out and have yet to hear back or get this problem fixed... our son also fell and scrapped his knee at the "park" due to a broken bridge. I grew up in a similar neighborhood in Trussville that is MUCH better kept but had MUCH less expense in HOA dues. If there was a noticeable use of these funds it would be different. Some maintenance and up keep on the park is beyond needed.

We need justification on why there is an increase in dues.

The funds have not been used as stated in the covenant. There needs to be better security. Too many solicitors frequent this subdivision. We need more lights. It is too dark at night on these streets. We need more amenities. A tennis or basketball court or a gym would be great. Building new homes in here that are totally different in style doesn't seem logical.

Yes, fees are too high and do not need an increase. I believe another amenity to consider is a storm shelter, but I don't know how much that would effect fees.

It appears that our previous HOA fees were not used effectively or efficiently, so I also agree that a justification of the increase is needed.

I agree. We have nothing to show for our dues but half working lights, unusable park and foreclosed homes. They are sticking homes in whatever spot they can find.

I agree that there needs to be justification for the increased HOA. A club house with a 24-hour gym would be great. The playground desperately needs some attention, right now I refuse to let my kids go there to play. They should also clear a few more trees and build a basketball court for the kids right next to the playground. This will keep the kids safer and out of the culdasacs and streets when playing basketball.

Well I agree with everything everyone has said above I also would like to add that me and my husband has been here going on two years in June and we wasn't too Happy about HOA fees but we were OK with 185 but to go up to 240 was ridiculous 185 is ridiculous to not have amenities so again what is HOA Bc I don't see where the money is going also we are expecting our first child in April and I have no plans of visiting the playground area or the trail by no means until it gets where we feel comfortable with being In that area it's scary and dark we also received a letter about new mulch and the trashcan being visible behind our truck I feel as though they send out unnecessary letters because if anything we've put money into our own landscaping our self so I don't mind signing a petition and voting for all the amenities that's listed above
1) 24- hour gym
2) Tennis court/basketball court for the kids to not have to be in the road it's not safe
3) Lights or lighting for outside area's
4) Club house with pool
5) The rest of the Roads need to be paved because going down to my house the roads are not paved

Security cameras would add a level of comfort if things were to happen in the neighborhood. I've heard of people in our neighborhood seeing teenagers and adults going around the community checking door knobs to houses to see if they're open and checking car doors to see if they're open. The cameras would at least let us know what these people look like and we could alert the police so our area can be patrolled. Also, we need a better area where our children can play and is not surrounded by a bunch of trees that you can barely see through and god knows what kind of animals are down there.

A clubhouse with a gym & indoor activity center for children are minimal improvements which the subdivision need.
