As a supporter of the Dearborn Street Coalition for Livable Neighborhoods, I believe that the Goodwill redevelopment project must be compatible with the surrounding communities and meet Seattle\'s public interest requirements for street vacations. I want to see a project that: - fits the scale and character of the businesses in the area - reflects the unique cultural diversity of surrounding International and Central District neighborhoods - is a transit-oriented, not automobile-oriented development, thereby resulting in less traffic congestion and better air quality - doesn\'t threaten small business districts, such as Little Saigon and those in the nearby Central District and Beacon Hill - provides quality open space - provides family-wage jobs with healthcare benefits for service and construction workers - has hiring goals for local residents - includes low-income and affordable family housing consistent with neighborhood plans - complies with green building standards (**** NOTE - after you click \'SIGN PETITION >>\' below, you are done.
