The school board is moving forward without consulting us so we must make our opposition impossible to ignore. Email your local trustee today and tell them you are ready to pull your kids from this district if they keep pushing this model.

The board is finally taking notice of our collective frustration now that this movement has gained real momentum. Go to the school board website right now and email your trustees to demand a seat at the table. Forward the petition link to other parents in your school network to ensure our message is impossible to ignore.

As a parent of 2 children in the Catholic School system, i have grave concerns of putting 12/13 year olds with 17/18 year olds. My husband and i have already started discussing transferring our kids to the public system. We have been strong supporters of the catholic board and felt it was
This model should have been a discussion with all parents of the schools involved. I too would take my girls out of Catholic and switch to Public. This isn't a well thought through idea and grade 7 is far too young.
Not impressed at all ! I have already removed one of my 3 children from the Catholic School board ..I will do it with my other 2 if need be.
We have 2 kids at John XXIII and this is not a consideration for our kids. If this initiative goes through we will pull our kids out of the system guaranteed. No "better programs, or academic advancement" will lure us into risking the safety of our children. I put mental/emotional /physical development WAY ahead of academic opportunities. This is disgusting. It will be public or private for us.
4 kids at John XXIII....very disappointed and feel betrayed by the Separate School Board for keeping this very secretive and not listening to our concerns as parents before a decision was made!
I am not comfortable with this idea at all.
This is not work it should be how it is been have been 9-12

High school is NOT a place a for 12 year old children. I will absolutely pull my children from the Catholic board and send them to their local (aka close) age appropriate public elementary school and re-rout out tax dollars to suit.
