Based on his work with the Souhegan High School track teams, David Salas should be Amherst's citizen of the year. We'd like to see him riding in a convertible in the 4th of July parade with the entire track team marching with him.

Dave has given so much to the Amherst community. Not only does he volunteer his time to the high school track team, he is the most generous coach to the Amherst running community. I am pleased to support this effort.
Very friendly neighbor and all around nice man. I look forward to getting to know him more.

Dave graciously offers his time and dedication to our cross country and track teams. He shares his knowledge of, and passion for, running with our kids. I appreciate the time he spends.
