David Bowie is exhibition travelled the world for 5 years stopping at 12 museums and attracting over 2 million visitors between March 2013 and July 2018. The Victoria and Albert Museum in London curated and opened the exhibition before it travelled the world.
It was a blow to the David Bowie community, music lovers, artists and those interested in the world of fashion and art when it was decided to return David Bowie’s archive into storage and stop the exhibition. David had a massive cultural impact on the world and continues to do so. His inspiring archive of objects and ideas impacted those who viewed them and interacted with them in a very positive way, inspiring many to follow their dreams and expedite their own ideas.
The global popularity of David Bowie Is speaks for itself. If there were a permanent home for the exhibition, or if it toured the world again, it would attract at least as many visitors as the 2 million on its first run and would inspire man younger fans and those interested in culture to follow their dreams.
David Bowie Is a vital, inspirational, motivating, learning, immersive, wonderful, educational experience with special kind of significance. David Bowie left a very present footprint on the world that needs to be continually shared with the peoples of the world.
Please, bring it back to us. It now rests with David Bowie’s management in New York to make that decision. Thank you.

This cultural titan deserves a museum to his memory, his originality and creativity. Not some stuffy place though, it should be interactive like the David Bowie Is exhibitions and dedicated to the performing arts and culture.
As the banner so truly states:we would not be who we out as a society without DB. I was fortunate enough to see this exhibition at the V&A and it rightly deserves a permanent home in London (Brixton?). Bowie Is…..Forever. Thank you xx
Yes please!!! I followed this important exhibit around the world.. it brings Bowie to life - both for those who adored him and to newbies alike - in a way that no other exhibition has been able to do. Please please make it a permanent exhibition somewhere!
Bowie needs his own museum, he has contributed massively to art, music and fashion. (And still does today!!) this amazing exhibition is the perfect permanent reminder! To revisit again and again and appreciate his beautiful legacy ⚡️❤️
Saw the expo in Paris, it took me two days to go through everything and I think I still missed a lot. Didn't have a chance to see it later, even tho I had planned to see it in several cities in Europe. I really wish it could be permanent somewhere, I'd make a pilgrimage there every year!

I saw this in Brooklyn. I think they should have permanent exhibits in New York and England. More people wanted to see it, and I would love to go back! I have friends that went almost daily. Its someplace for us to share David and be with him in some way.
