We, the residents of Nairobi Dam Estate along Lang'ata Road, hereby request Nairobi City Water & Sewerage Company (NCWSC) to increase water supply to the estate from weekly to, at least, 3 times a week.
Nairobi Dam used to receive water at least 3 times a week, though this has changed to once a week, on Saturdays. There is no advertised rationing program ongoing. This is even after improved water supplies to the city from catchment areas, as well as record rains. The residents are at the mercy of water dealers and tankers, whose source can not be fully confirmed.
We kindly ask all residents to sign the petition to request NCWSC to increase water supply to the estate to at least tr-weekly (3X a week).

The supply of water to dam estate should urgently be looked into. The supply is not consistent because at times some residents do not get even a drop. Everyday there are water tankers in the estate to sell water and yet we still get inflated bills. How can I pay, e.g. Ksh 3000/- per month when I only get water once a week? Something is not right. Please look into these issues. Thank you.
What we need to understand from NWSC is why with the improved supply to Nairobi we cannot have water at least 3 times a Week. Who Owns these tankers? I support this petition fully as a resident.
We constantly have shortage of water for over 20yrs, my plea is increase the supply days because it's barely 24hrs from Saturday midday to Sunday 9a.m., if we could get through the weekend from Friday to Monday can be sufficient to fill storages and sustain the residents for a week without complaints or the contrary everyday daytime from 9a.m. to 4p.m., that can also be highly appreciated. Thank you
Its just rediculous other than having water once a week, that the pressure is only high at 2 a.m on a Sunday morning!
DAM Resident of house number 214. The water rationing in DAM is costing the residents significantly, we purchase an additional supply of at least 3,000 litres from a water bowser to meet our weekly needs. Please look into a regular flow of Water and increased pressure.
We demand water.....it is a right
The one day water supply is not sufficient to ensure every one gets water within the estate. A large number of houses do not receive the water before the water supply is turned off. Increase the supply to at least 3 times a week.

It does not make sense why we have to buy dirty, hard water because water does not get to my house! It used to go to the tank on the roof! Allow enough pressure and days for all to get water! Why this discrimination and injustice!
