I support the construction of a cycle path on the pavement/grass verge of Highters Heath Road for the benefit of children and adult cyclists in the area.
I am currently gathering traffic data to present to the local planning committee. Send a quick email to your council member demanding they prioritize the safety of our children on Highters Heath Road.

Great idea! So much wasted footpath, would be ideal to put a cycle route in. Healthier happier children

This is a great idea, there is a lot of space on Highters Heath Rd to be created and I think it should be extended further to link to the nearby canal and Shire Country park!

i think this is a brilliant idea and promotes the safety and health and well being of children making their way to school, especially during busy times with children making their way to school at the same time as people commuting to work.

Great idea. Fewer cars around atvschool run time would be very welcome. It might stop some ignorant parents parking illegally in front of the school

The implementation of a cycle path would greatly assist in children and adults being able to cycle safety to school and would also prevent pedestrians having to 'dodge' children who are cycling to school. The cycle path would also assist in reducing local traffic around school, alleviate parking issues and promote a healthy start to the school day thus promote the health and safety of children entering and leaving the school grounds.

This road is used so much by children on their bike to get to school and back. There are lots of schools on this route
